The Balcombe Group rebranded in 2019 in honour of our late friend, Neville Balcombe. We said goodbye to Neville following an arduous battle with cancer. It was whilst reflecting on our friendship with Neville and everything he stood for as an individual, that it dawned on us that he encompassed everything we strive to be as a business. Trustworthy, reliable, hard-working, friendly and well-respected. Neville was the Balcombe Group personified.
As a company, we have always felt a responsibility to the broader community, supporting charities at a local and national level through various fundraising endeavours. Our family cantered origins mean we are deeply committed to giving back and making a difference in line with our growing success.
During Neville’s final months, he was compassionately cared for by St Peter & St James’ Hospice in Sussex. The dedication to maintaining the dignity of their patients was clear and truly inspiring. In tribute to the excellent work carried out at St Peter & St James’ Hospice, Balcombe Group have chosen to support them as our primary charity.
